UNC Student Wins Rolex Kick-Off
Justin Patteson, a UNC junior from Chapel Hill, won the Rolex Kick-Off at halftime of the Carolina-Duke football game November 17 in Chapel Hill.

Patteson, one of eight finalists who bought the lucky game programs signed by head coaches John Bunting and Carl Franks at UNC and Duke home games during the regular season, won the drawing on the field to attempt a 25-yard field goal.

Patteson kicked it through cleanly and chose the men’s Rolex Datejust Watch, which retails for $3,000, from Carlyle & Co., sponsor of the Carlyle Cup. Great kick, Justin!

Other finalists in the Rolex Kick-Off were Jimmy Gift of Richmond; Jake Gillen and Mark Gunia of Durham; Rick Halbruner of Charlotte; Melvin Tootoo of Wilmington; Laura Venner of Durham and Josh Wolfe of Trinity, N.C.
